Here for them today.
There for you tomorrow.
Protect the Firefighters Who Protect Us.
For more than 60 years, the heroes of Hygiene Fire & Rescue have answered the call – fighting fires, responding to medical emergencies, rescuing neighbors and protecting our way of life.
They would be the first to tell you that they’re “just doing their jobs.” Heroes? “Nah.”
But when you take an oath to put others’ lives ahead of your own… when you run into burning buildings without a second thought… when you hold the hand of the injured or save the life of a neighbor… when you preserve the legacy of a family or the livelihood of a small business…well, that sounds like hero stuff to us.
Today, Hygiene Fire & Rescue is at a turning point. The station that has served us for decades is no longer equipped to meet the demands of fire service today. That’s why the Friends of Hygiene Fire and local community leaders are rallying support for a modern, sustainable facility with suitable on-site housing, upgraded equipment, enhanced training space and more community amenities – a rebuild that will enable faster responses, support healthier firefighters and offer reliable protection for generations to come.

Building More Capacity
to Answer Your Call.
Hygiene’s new station initiative is about more than a building. It’s about ensuring that our firefighters can be there when we need them most. It’s about their health, safety, and ability to operate at the highest possible level. It’s about a commitment to protecting what we hold dear – our homes, families, legacies, and way of life.
Here for Them Today.
There for You Tomorrow.
Our firefighters answer calls every day – no matter the time, the weather, or the risk. Now it’s our turn to support them. Together, we can build a station that honors their service, meets their needs and ensures that Hygiene Fire & Rescue is even more prepared to keep our community safe.
Join us as we lay the foundation for a safer tomorrow – standing by the heroes who stand ready for us.
