CHIEF ALEX FRANK

Do what’s right…even when no one is watching.

Fire Chief Alex Frank leads with quiet conviction and an engineer’s eye for detail. For him, firefighting isn’t about accolades or adrenaline – it’s about integrity, preparation and purpose.

“Fire service is more than a job. It’s a higher calling. We meet people in their most vulnerable moments, and they trust us to show up above board – with a mix of professionalism and character. That’s the standard we live by.”

Alex grew up in the firehouse, following his father into the service. After seven years in the field, he stepped away to earn an engineering degree and spent more than a decade designing automotive systems built for precision under pressure. But he missed the teamwork and meaning that come from helping people directly.
When he joined Hygiene Fire in 2020, he brought both technical discipline and deep compassion – pairing his engineer’s mindset with a leader’s heart. Most people don’t think about their fire department until they need it, but Alex thinks about it every day – working behind the scenes to make sure the team is trained, ready and supported long before the sirens ever sound.

“We owe it to our firefighters to provide a space that protects them,” he says. “Better sleep, safer gear, modern systems – it all matters if we want to keep serving this community at our best.”
Under his leadership, Hygiene Fire is preparing for a new chapter. One built with compassion, character and the systems needed to take fire service in our community far into the future.
